Our Wedding

As told by Camo, the Day‑One RoommateHi. I’m Camo. Certified good boy, full‑time nap enthusiast, and the most observant member of this household. I’ve had a front‑row seat to this love story, so really, it only makes sense that I tell it.Back when it was just me and Jacque, life was predictable and very dog‑centric. Then, thanks to Jacque’s sister Elaine (a known disruptor), Jacque went on a first date with Todd in July 2023. I stayed home, but I immediately noticed the signs: extra smiling, lots of phone calls, and a suspicious lack of attention toward me that evening.By August 2023, things got serious. Jacque and Todd took their first international trip together to Portugal. I was not invited. Rude—but bold. There were many, many more trips that went on and ditched me, but I love to see my Jacque so happy!Todd survived his first holidays with Jacque’s family, which told me everything I needed to know. If you can handle that and come back smiling, you’re built for the long haul. Then came July 2024, a very important milestone. Jacque met Todd’s family for the first time, and according to her, that’s when she knew he was the one. I already knew, of course—I had been monitoring him closely—but it was nice for her to catch up.Next, Todd made a big move—emotionally, not geographically. In May 2025, he took Jacque all the way to Fiji and proposed. She said yes (excellent decision), and suddenly I was living with engaged humans. Adorable.Now we’re getting ready for the main event. On November 14, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, Jacque and Todd will officially become man and wife (and dog). I’ll be there, supervising operations, looking my best, and reminding everyone that this love story only worked because I allowed it.Thanks for celebrating my humans.With loyalty, and a perfectly timed wag,CamoWe were incredibly fortunate that Camo's story was published before we sadly said goodbye to him in July 2026. He was a cherished part of our lives throughout much of our relationship and wedding journey, and his memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

You can fly into Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). Southwest Airlines only flies to Dallas Love. Either airport is fine, but Dallas Love is slightly closer (~15 min) to the wedding festivities in the city of Dallas.

You may call the Central Reservations Office directly at 214-871-3205 or make reservations via the Group Reservations Link provided below and reference the Maye Ritterbusch courtesy room block. If you need to extend your stay up to 2 days before or after, please call the reservation office and they will try to accommodate based on availability. Reach out to the Bride or Groom if you are having any issues booking at the discounted room rate ($370/nt).

- Friday Evening Wedding Guest Get-Together @ Happiest Hour on Friday, November 13th. The wedding party will attend shortly following the rehearsal and dinner.
